Pulse Entertainment is a different kind of DJ and lighting services company that focuses on providing amazing customer service and perfect consistency. An overwhelming number of DJs in our area are part time and have a different full time job which distracts them from what should be their priority: providing you, their customer, with a stellar experience from the sales process all the way through the day of the wedding. At Pulse we believe that to provide high quality and professionalism, we must remain dedicated towards what we do. Our company has full time employees and an office in Fairfax, VA, and is available at any time of the day or night to go over the process with you, help you select your music, schedule your timeline, and anything else.
As a company we are able to offer many advantages that a single DJ would not be able to. What happens if your DJ gets sick on the day of or the vehicle breaks down? To ensure this does not interrupt your wedding we always have at least one DJ on call during every scheduled event who can quickly take over if necessary.
Pulse Entertainment is NOT a booking agency. Our DJs work solely for us using our own equipment and they are personally trained by our founder and president. Think of a franchise model where you can go to a big-name chain restaurant and get the same item on the menu at different locations even though they are owned by different people. While we have a diverse team of DJs with different backgrounds and experiences, they are trained to be consistent and have similar personalities across the board.

We utilize the highest quality equipment available. Everything from our cables to our computers are top-of-the line and exceed industry standards. In addition, we have spares of our equipment available at all times. We always have two backup computers ready to take over instantly in the event of a problem. Even equipment such as speakers are covered; we bring an extra set to every event.
We offer FULL liability and umbrella insurance coverage for every event - over $5M in coverage. Not only are our own employees and equipment protected, but your guests and the venue are too! Most DJs do not have insurance coverage, so be sure to make the right decision when hiring and ask to see proof of insurance.
You've most likely been to a wedding in the past where the DJ seemed to be doing his or her own thing with no regard to the guests, or even worse the newlyweds! We get it...you want to make sure your wedding goes flawlessly, and slow response times and a lack of communication are frightening! Whether you've already booked us or you're an existing client, at Pulse we have a one-hour response guarantee for any calls/emails during regular business hours. Our office staff are standing by waiting to answer your questions!
